People4Purpose NPC would like to extend a very grateful thank you to everyone who has contributed, donated, dropped off, reached out and phoned, following my latest appeal about a very young man. I am always humbled how the communities step up and give of their hard earned money and of their time and personal resources. I am often left speechless and many times the tears well, as I remember the help I received during my own personal battle with cancer, and how People4Purpose came to be.
After 2 years extensive training at one of the most successful NPO’S in SA, Taking Care of Business, (formerly known as The Clothing Bank), my focus is not on free hand outs, but on providing an immediate safety net, where vulnerable people and families face a massive crisis. Our shift then is working on sustainability options and keeping these families on their feet. Someone commented on my last post – teach a man to fish – and that’s exactly what we do, from providing a free CV service to those who could otherwise not afford it, to sustainable workable options of income generation. Do we always have the answers…. definitely not and can we always help…. sadly no. In some dire situations, we have to involve the relevant authorities and we can’t always share all the details… thank you for trusting us 
We couldn’t do those alone and we remain grateful and humbled by the outpouring of support, kindness and love shown
